Sir Paul McCartney is a legend! This is factual information known by everyone, so it’s not even up for a debate. But knowing this doesn’t make you any less in awe of him, especially when seeing him perform live. McCartney showed the crowd at Lollapalooza exactly why he is called Sir, as he performed his hits, The Beatles hits, a tribute to the WAY COOL Jimi Hendrix, and ribbed the EDM artist that was playing over in Perry’s. And this was all while switching up guitars and stating “we’re showing off." And SHOW OFF he did!

It was AWESOME to see such a diverse crowd filled with kids and adults, jamming, dancing, and singing together to some of the biggest hits of MANY generations. A singalong of “Hey Jude” and “Blackbird”, which McCartney explained was about the Civil Rights movement, is just as amazing as it sounds. And we were even treated to one of the best firework/pyrotechnic feats probably ever seen at a concert during “Live and Let Die”.
