The Wine Down After the Debauchery!
Days at Lollapalooza are LONG and if you play your cards right, the nights will turn into long ones, too! Lollapalooza features what they call Aftershows, where you get a chance to see some of your favorites in a more intimate setting. And where better to go after all the revelry and debauchery than Reggie’s Rock Club to check out the SUPER cool Jhene Aiko.
Jhene started off the show with her song, "To Live and Die" and the crowd rocked with her from start to finish, singing, and dancing along to EVERY song! She went through her relatively new catalog, performing "Stay Ready (What a Life)", "3:16 AM", and "Bed Peace" among her other songs. She sung with great strength and clarity, and her accompanying band complimented every note! We especially like her cover of a song by one of her biggest influences, "Keep Your Head Up" by Tupac; which got a rousing approval from the audience at Reggie's! She also sung her AWESOME song with Drake, "From Time".
Jhene finished up her set with "The Worst" and came back and sung it again after chants of "encore, encore, encore . . . " from the crowd that obviously needed more! Jhene's set was AMAZING and almost ethereal!
